Thanks to all of your responses. I appreciate each and everyone of them. I continue to pray each day and keep in touch with my Mom, Brother and Grandmother daily. I have been reading the Lance Armstrong book and he survived testicular, lung and brain cancer, so I know miracles do happen.

Just lost a grandfather to lung cancer a month ago Weaver. Sorry to hear that. Stay strong and you will be in my prayers daily. Good luck to you.And your family.God Bless.

That sucks Weaver. Lost my mom 2 1/2 years ago to ovarian cancer. Thing was, she had her ovaries removed more than 25 years earlier. I'm sure lots of people here have been where you are, so you are not alone. Godspeed to you and your family.

To all,
Thanks again. It is a daily hardship that I have to deal with, but I feel comfort that others do as well and pray night and day for my Mom, as well as my family. She has her first chemotherapy treatment tomorrow. I have already decided that is my Mom loses her hair, that I am shaving my head. I am not a handsome man, so this won't be an improvement, but i want to do something for her, as corny as that may sound. I appreciate every minute of everyday now. Took my till I was almost 33 to realize this. To all of you that still have parents or grandparents, take my advice and appreciate the time you have. I lost my grandfather in 99 and wish I had spent more time. I am not going to have that regret this time.

My fiance' and his brother did this for me last year when I was taking treatment for Breast Cancer. It meant so much to me, as being a female, it was tough on me to lose my hair. Hang in there and know that you and your Mom are in my thoughts and prayers.
