Hey guys and gals,
My Mom has been sleeping most of the day now. We have had to do things for her, that we didn't think she wanted us to do, but we did them for her own good. It is hard right now, but I believe once she is gone, it will be better on me. I will miss her dearly, but to watch her suffering, it is very hard. Again, I don't know what I will do once she is gone, I will miss my visits with her and our weekly phone conversations, the holidays, etc. I wake up everyday, thinking I had a nightmare and realize that what is happening is for real. It is a horrible feeling waiting for someone you love to die. I just hope I am by her side, when it is time for her. I guess I am being selfish, but that would be some relief to me and I believe my Mom. Thanks again to all of you for your prayers and thoughts.

Prayers will be sent, I understand because my Father has had his challenges with Cancer. Believe it or not, I believe a good positive attitude can help you BEAT IT!

I'm feeling your pain, Matt. May God give you and her comfort and peace. And if she passes while you are not with her, do not feel guilty. She may purposely wait to let go when you are not there. You have obviously been a wonderful son. From a mother's point of view, that means more than you will ever know. Prayers are with you.
