The Planet Fitness in Gonzales is the same. There's a buncha fit mfers in that gym at all times. It's nothing like the stereotype associated with the PF Brand.
Also, I've been there 5 years and i've never seen them offer cookies or pizza.

I've heard it twice at Gonzales. Once it was a meathead dropped a fairly loaded bar on the Smith achine twice. The 2nd time the meathead did it the alarm went off. Very much warranted as there's no frickin reason for it.
Another time I heard it but don't know what for.
That "lunk alarm" serves it's purpose if used judiciously.

Every 1st Monday of the month (evening) they serve free pizza and every 2nd Tuesdy of the month (morning) they serve free bagels. They have been doing this at every location since forever. Idk what time of the day you go but if you have been going to PF for 5 years it is very odd that you have never seen it.

Ours just added plate loaded machines, so it's a similar clientele. It's probably the best well kept location in the area and we weirdly get a lot of non-FB/BB UofL athletes that workout in the off-season.
I don't think I go during the hours they offer the free food because I haven't seen it either.

I use PF because it’s super simple with traveling. There’s generally always one close and easy to get to and use with the PF black membership. But almost all of them I have been in they constantly update their equipment. And who cares if it’s poorly managed with lazy employees? I barely even talk to the employees. I get in, workout, and get out. How much are you relying on an employee at a gym anyway?
