Airing dirty laundry is a poor choice.
To the contrary, I think they are owning it and admitting fault, something nobody in this world ever does any more.
If I lived there I'd give them a 2nd chance based on this alone.

That's a great way to solicit new employees. Ownership must be dog shite.
It’s a great way to tell customers you’re fixing things they’ve complained about or just stopped giving you business over. Could help attract employees that want to work in a drama free environment.
They aren’t recruiting engineers. It’s wait staff and kitchen help in a pizzeria. High school kids can be trained for those jobs.

have you been anywhere lately that customer service was stellar?
Posted on 3/18/25 at 10:57 pm to prplhze2000
All I got out of this is pizzeria is not good at hiring, training or managing.
So they are going to try again with the same people that did the hiring, training and managing.

Good luck finding low wage employees that give a shite
Back in the day, I was a minimum wage employee who gave a shite. They might have been part-time jobs and I was just a student worker but I cared about doing my job well and knowing that management could depend on me.

No idea why you’re getting downvoted
You’re 100% right
This screams “look at me” and “people don’t wanna work anymore”
If you have bad employees, then you either 1. Hired wrong 2. Trained poorly
Take some accountability and quit crying online about it

if the comments are accurate and they're paying $8/hour, it's not going to get any better
Maybe it didn’t use to be like that but that’s how it is today

I wish every fast food place was like Chick-fil-A.
CFA's success it directly a result of their management structure. It shows what can be done across the country when the management is required to be present and actually manage their employees.
The Pizzaria's issue are guaranteed a result of poor management which is prevalent in a lot of small restaurants. Given CFA's ability to do it in basically everyone of their restaurants, it isn't a unicorn it is just good management given the skills to do the job properly.

Power move right there! Respect and good luck. Im pretty sure this move will attract customers and get them back to normal. But I have to wonder how the problem got this bad. That’s on the owner and management.

I guess they want CFA owners to have one location be their only ones lol
CFA owners are only allowed to have 1 franchise.
If they are outstanding owners they may be allowed to purchase up to 3 more, but they have to meet all kinds of crazy metrics. .

Run a business and then report back to us.
I think about firing my entire staff weekly.

What is the world coming to when we can no longer rely on teenage stoners to man local pizza joints?

When people start threads about the last time you shite in your pants, this is entirely worthy.

Federal minimum wage hasn't gone up in 16 years. We have seen a 40% increase in inflation since then. To be fair it's a lot easier to give a shite on minimum wage when you can buy 40% more stuff.
You want employees to give a shite. pay more money.
Posted on 3/19/25 at 8:07 am to Obtuse1
CFA also pays about twice as much

So what? Wendy's was paying $12/hr after Katrina on the Northshore 20 years ago. Do you know what In N Out pays? McDonalds? Wal-Mart? Amazon to throw boxes? F off.
If you're so dumb you continue slinging lottery tickets at a Quik-E-Mart in BFE for $5.35 an hour, when you could drive to get a job at H-E-B fifteen miles away for three times as much (they pay $20/hr to pick curbside orders, which even retarded high school kids can do,) you deserve the suck.
