I've seen babies do some pretty evil shite. No telling what they do to provoke such loveable dogs into attacking.

Probably so, especially with mine. She's only 7 months old and thinks everyone loves her. She's properly socialized and exercised and doesn't recognize (yet) that not all people are good.

compliments to the officer for only shooting one in the leg. He could've greased both of em and noone would blame him
I wouldn't have thought twice and popped both

They aren't as tough as people think they are. Mine got attacked by an American bulldog years ago and probably would have died had I not intervened. He is the nicest dog you will meet. I don't think he has an aggressive bone in his body. At least he sounds and looks scary if someone tries to mess with us.

Wow I've never heard a pit owner say anything like this. Even after they eat a kid's face.

I believe he has a Doberman like Will

Calm down buddy, I have a doberman. Although they were the pit of the 80s.

Ah. Sorry about that ol' chap. And you are absolutely right. We had two in our neighborhood. One was the sweetest dog, the other, not so much. But they did instill fear.

why shoot it in the leg? kill that demon. AC is going to put them down anyway
The dog was moving. I didn't get the impression that the officer was really shooting for the leg.

This. My oldest daughter is almost strong enough to control my dog. The training collar that I place on her certainly helps keep her calmer.
My wife takes her walking late at night and even though she is very friendly, she gives off the appearance that she is ready on command to respond, which is what I want.

As soon as pet owners are held criminally liable for the damage their animals do. This shite will stop

Those dogs suck, but I cringe at the sound of a dog crying like that. Nurture not nature

Pit bulls are owned by trashy people.

gun control laws?? lets talk pit laws first. The cop should have shot them on the spot, as they were still an ongoing threat.

Kill all of the pitbulls for all I care. shite breed.

She's a beauty too. I love that lighter color. My Weimaraner (which is awesome) will be the last dog I probably ever own. But if I ever rethought that a Doberman would be considered.

Do you know who the typical pit owner is?
