My wife is amazed at how educational TD is - she never realized how poor most people are.

As said many times in this thread, there simply is no news source out there that is better than TD. Local, world, whatever. I rarely go to any news websites anymore because TD has rendered them completely useless.

My girlfriend is amazed by the actual amount of interesting things I learn through TDings. It's actually great for sharing relevant on what's happening in the world.

It also makes you look like a boss at the office when people are like "Did you hear what they just said on the news...." and you're like "Yeah, I heard about it days ago" or when you tell them something from tiger droppings long before it's on the news and they're like "What? I can't find anything on the news sites about this!" and you tell them "Just wait, It will". They always want to know the where and how, but I'll never tell because I don't want them reading my posts.
Only problem is, all I did was read it but they don't need to know that

Great source for breaking news. Can't tell you how many times my wife has said "fricking tigerdroppings" or "why don't you get on tigerdroppings and ask those OT people how to remove a foot from your arse because that's what's fixing to happen if you don't get off that damn phone".
