I don't think my wife has scooped me on a major happening or a celebrity death in the last 8 years. I think it gets to her when my response is "yea I read that hours ago." She just text me that Billy Bob died and I responded "yea, that was yesterday".

I don't know about knowledge, but saying things like "Deal With It" and "that's trashy" pisses mine off to no end.

No doubt, if it's not discussed on the OT then it's not worth knowing. I also get quite a bit of funny stuff here but kinda have to filter out the dickish stuff. Lots of dicks on here and when you read the shite over and over it can slip into the brain and out the mouth

It's funny how much I retain just from scrolling shite. If it's a thread topic on one of the pages I frequent, I will remember it In my head for atleast 2 weeks or so even if I didn't open or respond to the thread

My wife discovered the power of Tiger Droppings the day I called her and told her Heath Ledger died. It was a good 20 minutes before the major news outlets were reporting it .
