Six year old Martha Stewart arranging flowers
Hard to believe but even at this young age, Martha Stewart was already a stuck up bitch.

Cynthia was a 6 ft tall, 100 lb plaster mannequin created by Lester Gaba in 1932 for Saks Fifth Avenue. Gaba was a soap sculptor and retail display designer who pioneered modern mannequins that were realistic and stylish, with imperfections like freckles and different-sized feet. Cynthia was designed to catch shoppers' attention and became a socialite in 1930s New York. Gaba took advantage of Cynthia's popularity to make her more human, and she became part of Hollywood's glamorous elite for a time.
Cynthia was featured in a Life Magazine spread that included photos of her attending the opera, getting her nails done, smoking a cigarette while having dinner, and touring the city. She also modeled clothes, attended New York City's best restaurants, clubs, and shows, and received gifts from Cartier and Tiffany. Cynthia wore Dior and custom-made hats by Lilly Daché, and was even invited to the 1937 wedding of Wallis Simpson and the Duke of Windsor, though she didn't attend.

Bettie Page on the farm, photographed by Weegee
I'm not sure if Weegee took this next one, not really his style:

Young stars of CBS TV series, circa 1962.
I should know more. I see Dennis the Menace and Opie on the bottom row and Elly Mae and Jethro on top.

Max Baer and Louisiana's own Donna Douglas top row all the way to the right
The girl on the far left 2nd row looks familiar. Can't place her, though.

The girl on the 2nd row, second from left, looks like Candy Moore, from "The Lucy Show." Probably Jimmy Garrett, who played her brother, below her on bottom row. The girl on the 2nd row at the end reminds me of one of the actresses who played a daughter on "The New Loretta Young Show," but I don't know her name. Next to her, sitting down, it sure looks like Anne Helm, but it probably isn't. I don't recall Helm ever being a regular in any tv-series, much less a CBS one from 1962. Two shirtless dudes in the back are probably Dirk and Dack Rambo, also from Loretta Young's show. Some other faces look familiar, but the photo just isn't really sharp enough.

The girl over Opies left shoulder looks like the girl that played Sissy on Family Affair....The girl to the left of her looks like Jamie Lee Curtis? The girl between Opie and Dennis looks like Angelia Cartwright?

Good catch on Angela Cartwright, being a regular on "Danny Thomas" at the time. A definite CBS staple. And that's probably her tv-show 'brother' Rusty Hamer above her. Looks like him once I thought about it. Girl on second row at the left end is perhaps Beverly Washburn, who was another one of the daughters in "New Loretta Young Show," playing the geeky/intellectual one.
But I don't think it's Kathy Garver in the photo. She was a working kid actress at the time, but I think she was only in really small bit roles up until the mid-60s. I recall seeing her in a small part all the way back in a late-1950s episode of "Jim Bowie." She also popped up in a "Patty Duke Show" episode if my memory is correct, but it was again, a very small role.

McCain was on board when this event occurred, but the ordnance came from an F-4 that was being prepped on the flight line. McCain flew the A-4 Skyhawk.
Correct....My brother in law was on the flight deck that day....McCain's A-4 was hit by friendly fire from the explosion. I was in a A-4 Skyhawk squadron but wasn't there that day fortunately. Until this day, IMO...the A-4 was the best aircraft the Navy Blue Angels flew.
