Anyone remember Hills?
He was considered “management material” there but made more money playing guitar and singing in a local bar two nights a week than from his day job all week long.
His wife (at the time) was an OT 9, 13 year-old me couldn’t understand how he would ever leave the house when he had that woman in his bedroom.

There was a jitney jungle in Monroe as of the late 90s. I assume it’s gone now

I couldn’t remember if it was in Steubenville or EAST Steubenville.
Mrs Füt (no pics) worked for at the local Jitney-Jungle Store as a cashier in her hometown during High School.

I remember the Hill's in Russell, KY, and the one in Barboursville, WV from days long past. The parking lot at the one in Russell had the most pigeons of any place I've ever seen. They kept that parking lot absolutely picked clean of spilled popcorn. (Speaking of which, the popcorn at Hill's was awesome!)
We've already been over this though, haven't we? I think we were both born in Huntington about seven years apart.

When I was growing up, we had a Gravely mower like this. Nothing was ever better at mowing under low trees.

Yessir.
That is a fact.
The Tri-State area is now not for sissies.
Living there is hard business.

A pie truck and a pie tin from The Frisbie Pie Co. Yale students in the 1930's allegedly would eat the pie and throw the tins around while yelling "Frisbie". 20ish years later the first plastic Frisbee was molded.
