it really was, re-enacted it hundreds of times in the front yard as a kid, now it seems like there’s one that long every other week

Saints would have probably still drafted Archie Manning over Jim Plunkett in the 1971 draft given that Archie was more widely known around the Louisiana/Mississippi area at that time.

Some poster on here once wrote how he went to the game as a 10 yr old w/his mother. She figured the game was over w/the Saints deep in their own territory and almost no time, so they left in order to try to beat the traffic. As they were leaving the stadium they heard this huge roar from the crowd...
