In October 1983, during a round of golf at Augusta National, President Ronald Reagan was involved in a hostage situation when Charles Harris, a local man, crashed his truck into the club and took seven hostages, demanding to speak with the president.

Neither do I. Did this really happen? Or was it just kept quiet because the club wanted it that way?

Phil Harris was an old time bandleader who was a funny second banana on The Jack Benny radio show, and had a #1 hit record w/"The Thing"

He is probably best remembered for voicing iconic characters like Baloo in The Jungle Book (1967), where he sang the famous "The Bare Necessities," Thomas O'Malley in The Aristocats (1970), and Little John in Robin Hood (1973).

Personally, I hate White Castle/Krystal hamburgers

I love Phil Harris' old radio series with wife Alice Faye. Very, very funny show. One of the best, especially the episodes from around 1948-49 or so. I used to collect the show on cassette tapes, and even wrote to Harris telling him how much I enjoyed the show. Got a nice letter back from him.

Walter Tetley FTMFW

25 yrs after this late '30s ad, Walter Tetley still sounded like an outstanding boy actor, voicing Sherman on the Bullwinkle Show when he was pushing 50. Some speculate he suffered from Kallmann syndrome.

Grew up with this album, 1958. I still have it and I have a couple of those aluminum tumblers from my Grandparents. As for the album, he does a great job with That's What I Like 'Bout the South, Is It True What They About Dixie, and St. James Infirmary.
