Although FDR would not permit Charles Lindbergh to join the military during WWII, he flew 50 combat missions as a civilian and was credited w/shooting down a Mitsubishi

Yep. It looks more like someone got their AC unit or satellite dish knocked off their RV because they overestimated the clearance of an old tunnel.

Whitey's Seafood and Billiards---------I remember that place on Downman Rd. and it was a go-to spot for pool and a bite to eat with some cold beer to wash it down.

These signs are from 1921 to 1926. The current US Highway numerology was adopted in 1926 (US Hwys 11, 51,61, 90, 190 etc.). The pre-1926 system was extremely capricious and random in it’s code.
