Note the soldier in the middle.
Supposedly, the average age in a military cemetery is 21.

I didn't know the Beach Boys were in one of the Frankie and Annette beach movies...

The record club was the centerpiece to many a good prank. Just fill out the form on your target, pick the opposite of their music favorites and then enjoy the fall out.

They are babies. My goodness. So young to be going off to war.

Great song too, written by the Sherman Bros (Mary Poppins)

quote:You are correct that Jitney-Jungle’s parent company (McCarty-Holman, from Jackson, MS) bought the Delchamps chain in ‘97.
In 97 Jitney Jungle bought Delchamps. The Delchanps store at Highland and Lee became a JJ. I also remember seeing one in Pensacola before crossing over the toll bridge to be beach.
They closed down not long after.
After purchase, they left the Delchamps stores branded “Delchamps”, the only redundancies with Jitney stores were a few Delchamps stores located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast that Jitney quickly sold off.
Jitney paid too much in ‘97 and by 2000, Winn-Dixie Stores (from Jacksonville, FL) swooped in and bought Jitney for a song.
Winn-Dixie closed most of both the Jitney and the Delchamps stores down as Winn-Dixie was already in most of those locations already. The few Jitney or Delchamps locations that remained open were all rebranded as Winn-Dixie stores.

I still don't like that tunnel. It is very close quarters, much like the old Cochran Bridge.
