Pretty sure it’s Texas Eastern/Enbridge.

The pipeline Operator. Pretty sure it’s not Columbia Gas.

I'm having a hard time grasping the scale of that picture.

No pictures of the event while it burned?

Looks like the closest residence was a 16' x 80' single wide and next one is a double wide.

I live about 200' from one that runs East / West through Sandy Springs, GA. Not sure if it shows up on that map, but it's a Colonial Pipeline property.

Insane amount of damage. Wonder if it was an actual line failure or if someone nicked the line. Either way the damage is just crazy.

Theres a reason we always stake those and mark them pretty blatantly. Natural gas lines are about the most volatile product that can go in a pipeline. Much less a 30" line which is just massive for natgas

I have always been amazed at the enormous and often unseen infrastructure needed to connect producers to distributors to retailers to consumers in our oil and gas industries.

You can see the pipe in the pic. When it ruptured there was giant gas blow torch blowing right on that trailer. The blast didn't move the cars or knock the trailer off the blocks it just incinerated everything.

Don’t worry it’ll all be replaced by electric in 10 years.

No video of this in this day and age?

Had to be a pretty epic blowtorch.

Oh, that’s right. And anyway, doesn’t the world end 2 years later?
