The science is out there on this. There is a Ted Talk and articles and so forth. Straight men are overwhelmingly attracted to femininity , not genitalia exclusively . Very few men are attracted exclusively to the vagina. They are attracted to the whole feminine package- the breasts , the legs, the curve of the arse, the higher voice, the softer features. Transsexuals visually “ trick “ the male brain . And men are familiar with their own penis of course and tend to be pretty fond of it. Their penis guides them through the day. So they aren’t “ anti- penis “ per se, they just find masculinity gross. What makes the penis gross is that it’s attached to a man. So when it’s attached to a woman our brain processes it differently, puts it in another category.So if there was an actual room, and you had to go left to “ her “ or right to” him”, straight men would probably go to the feminine room 95% of the time. Those who chose the masculine side would probably be gay .
