He said two things I won’t forget: N- rigged is a true meaning and one day blacks will take over.

I use the "can't swing a dead cat without hitting...." all the time.

In the late 90's/early 00's I used to use, "get toe up from the flow up" when I would describe my plans for the evening. My Yankee friends would look at me funny. My redneck friends knew...

"Like totally!!"

Although it's hard not hearing "like" every other word these days

I learned to say this, and many other phrases colorfully describing how hot or cold it was, in Spanish when I worked with various Mexican crews.

this is hard to believe as a southerner, but i have never once in my life used the N word.

i work in technology and mainly support technology departments and out of my 1000s of customers, maybe 2 or 3 are black and i was helping one of them and said we can do a makeshift fix and i referred to it as a jigger-rig. just slipped out. never said the bad version of that in my life. he paused for a second and then we continued work.


i then promptly left, quit the job, left the country and changed my name and gender.
