He had Danny Thomas on his show once, and he put up a picture of him (Danny Thomas) as a young man - down on all fours with his daughter, Marlo, riding on his back, like riding a horse.

PD asked him, "Who's that on your back?"

DT replied, "The one who's on your back now."

Perfect timing.
