I wonder how many do not believe the current model of evolution from a non-religous viewpoint.

Hard to say. Has to be a really low number.

I'd forgotten how ignorant you looked in that thread. Flame Salamander came up a close second.

I inferred that from you being the first response to essentially "Who here believes in evolution?" My mistake

To be fair, most people don't understand how evolution works to start with and what they do believe is a silly caricature.

Sort of like a Poliboard poster.

Evolution is a matter of interpretation, most scientists agree that it's bullshite and there's really no consensus. So who's to say?

I only believe in devolution.

Is this a criticism of believers or non-believers in Evolution?

Those that refuse to accept evolution.

It's why you hear them say idiotic things like, "it's only a theory." If they knew what they were talking about, they'd understand that a theory doesn't grow up and become a law. A scientific theory is not the same thing as a theory on Law and Order SVU...

You can believe in anything, honestly...

Once CNN does a documentary on it, then we'll all know for certainty.

No, don't believe it.

This is not an excuse not to believe in evolution. If you believe that God made all of the elements required for life, and then the process of evolution happened as the theory laid out, then you believe in evolution

This! God just was the architect engineer that designed everything thing as we know and have yet to find out. Just think of it as we live in a simulation program with all the rules and laws of science being set.

can you believe in natural selection and evolution, but not be sure about the starting point?
you can but that is just as stupid as believing in evolution any other way. If you believe in evolution, where are all the transition bones and transition animals?
