There is also unnatural selection, but the religious don't want to legalize it.

by the way I believe in a god. i'm not saying religion is unreasonable, i'm saying people who adhere strictly to old texts written by retards (by today's standards)are unreasonable, but they're not stupid.

I do not think evolution by natural selection and a belief in the other worldly are mutually exclusive ideas.

The first guy with thumbs was probably all thumbs, so I'm going with Gengis Kahn.

They probably kept it professional and scientific in order to not skew the results, something like this:

Do you believe God created the world in 7 days or do you believe in the satanic man-made guess that monkeys and dandelions are related?

I never understood why the mouth-breathers couldn't grasp that divine creation and evolution are far from mutually exclusive.

The question is not whether God created the universe (or even exists), the question here is whether evolution took place. It's two different debates.

I wonder how many do not believe the current model of evolution from a non-religous viewpoint.

i'm actually not well versed when it comes to the predecessors of homo sapien. did they not have thumbs? or did the retarded offspring of a mutant fish frog have them before we even got to that point?
