I have said it before and i will say it again : The key to enjoying life in New Orleans is to think of it not as a poorly-run American city, but to think of it as a pretty decently-run 3rd world, or Caribbean city…. Then it all makes much more sense .

I don’t know man, the food is damn good. Houston food sucks arse, they claim it’s gotten better lol nah, it sucks. They have no idea how to season, how to cook, how to present.

The old dude in Broadmoor seemed like a great guy. The project dude was okay. Couldn't get through listening to the Mardi Gras Indian. Felt like I was losing brain cells hearing him speak.

This is why I go to the OT. It's my Twitter. I had never heard of this Santenello guy until this thread, but I will be watching more of his videos.
As for the tour guide, I thought he did a good job but you can't do the whole city justice in just one short video. It's a shame he moved to Mississippi but Ida proved to be too much for some people. I get it. I disagree with him where he says you can only go to Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest so many times. But that is what an ex-pat has to tell himself as a coping mechanism when moving somewhere like Brookhaven.
