Where is there any mention of the current cdc recommendation to stay home for 10 days being required? Or potentially subject to fines and penalties?

Ok, I agree with you a lot, but that's not how this works.
The administration is clearly floating policy to the Washington Post. This isn't something that started in 2021.

Sorry. This is how Australia “started” with Covid restrictions. They did NOT just jump right to what they are doing now. There was a progression.

Thing is CDC can’t enforce this bc they have no idea who is quarantined. If you travel by air, the govt WILL KNOW who you are so enforcement will be possible.

I said if they asked/told citizens to quarantine after returning from abroad it would be the same as the current policy of asking/telling citizens to quarentine if they think they have covid

Biden had said over the summer that he would not mandate vaccines for Fed employees but would require testing. That changed about a month later.

In response to someone else saying home confinement of any length by the government regarding covid is not comparable to a knee scratch, you countered with ‘it’s the same as the current 10 day policy’
