In work places they can ask you to wear them. You don't have to but you might be unemployed if you don't.
As for me going out in public, the governor says it's mandatory, he can suck a dick. I'm not wearing a mask because I have nothing to gain or lose from it and neither does anyone around me. It's completely pointless.

In order to keep this hoax going, you need to sell something that people will buy. It doesn't have to be a physical item but in this case it's part of it. Telling them that they need a mask, is horseshite.
How long has this virus been around? I'm supposed to be believe it's highly contagious. Ok, so we didn't know anything about it until January but it's been here since at least October? So in that 3 months before we found out about it, we didn't see bodies flooding the hospitals or lying in the street.
Once we knew about it and the media ran with it suddenly we get 120,000 deaths. Where were the deaths for the 3 months prior?
Wear a mask lol. For what? Soap and water kills the virus. Wash your hands. If it's airborne you would be breathing it in and exhaling it. It's a sham. You've had the wool pulled over your eyes. You've been had.

So all these hero’s at hospitals contracting China virus while wearing n95 plus face shield is anecdotal? Then they send them back to work unit 3 days later. But I guess you can’t infect a patient twice. And if you wear mask from lobby to ICU everyone is safe.
