SSDI (social security disability insurance) is not welfare unless you consider Social Security welfare because as a worker they paid for the insurance. You might be thinking of SSI (supplemental security income), which is need-based and has no work credit/payment requirements.

There is a laundry list of reasons, and regulations is but one of them. The cost of NG and coal from the Western states likely had a far bigger direct impact.

I’ll spell it out… WV is poor AF yet their violent crime rate isn’t on par with the violent crime rate of other races that we’re told are violent mainly due to being poor, because of policies set in place by whites.

Not sure if any effect on percentages, but it excludes a lot of programs (not what child support is mentioned below).
Also what year is this supposed to be representing?

I very well might have misunderstood your post, but what policies have white people set in place that make black people more violent? I'm not talking about 60 years ago, but relatively modern times.
