A denier, for sure. You're the type who probably said seven years ago when Baton Rouge and Denham Springs were being submerged in meters of floodwaters, that "we always have summer thunderstorms here."

2016 flood was a 1000 year event combined with overdevelopment, clogged waterways and idiot politicians which let those happen.

It’s a hot summer, lets just ride it out and be done with it. They survived the record temps in 1909 and 1921 when nobody had AC. Suck it up peeps.

Climate change proponents used to melt down when someone pointed out that weather and climate are not the same and weather events are not indicative of improvement or degradation.

Now, you people point out every single event as "climate change" which is why your message rings hollow.

No one who actually exercises critical thought disagrees with the reality of climate change, and the fact that such change is directly (through fossil fuels) or indirectly (large livestock) the result of human activities.

i’m not having this debate with you because it would be the equivalent to arguing with a brick wall. you’re too steeped in this mindset to have an actual discussion and that’s evident by you forcing your agenda in every thread you post in.

They also know better than to claim individual events are related to climate change, but they do it anyway.

They are dishonest. You cant argue truth with dishonest people.

What happened to the 3000’ of ice covering Half Dome in Yosemite and the oceans over West Texas. We’ll wait.

Downvote all you want, but "the south" is a big place and a large portion of it has had a below average Summer to this point.

You don't get to just make shite up or pull it out of your arse. Now do the "It's just El Niño" routine.

The annual summer tourist panic is on locally because our glaciers are melting.

They've been melting with tiny oscillations for thousands of years.

Like when certain right-leaning media groups were pushing that the hot summer is due to an undersea volcano last year?

You say "the south" has been setting all time records across the area. (ETA: Excuse me, the quote was "Every major city across the South has set an all time record high this Summer.")

The state of Alabama, in the major cities of Huntsville, Birmingham, Montgomery, and Mobile has set all of ONE DAILY record for high temp so far this Summer. Mobile tied a couple more, but ties don't count because we don't do moral victories here.

Go ahead and do what the guy from Augusta, GA did and fricking tell me it is "Hotter than hell and humid as shite" and that the area is in a heatwave. Tell me that the city was 8.58° "above Average" for July. I will tell you you're a fricking liar and then prove it to you. Then, tell me you're in a damn drought in the same area. None of that shite is subjective.

Just like the people who tried to say that the heatwave played a part in the Maui fires. The heatwave isn't even a thing in Hawaii.

Too many people are trying way too hard to wedge themselves into a historic heatwave for some reason. I think it has to do with the constant bombardment of "Dangerous heat", "Excessive Heat" and whatever bullshite local affiliates push to them 5 times a day.

You say I'm making shite up, fine. You should have more pride in the Summer you're surviving than to let every Tom and hairy dick within 500 miles claim they're experiencing the same.
