You can not like him but that's not an issue.
None of that makes him a leader, though.

I wouldn't be worried about angry mobs, but rather getting stuck in traffic because those retards are blocking the roads.

I do, but jokes are typically based in truth.

I saw about 8 people at the corner of Florida and River Road with their little signs the first go around. And this was right at the beginning, a few days before it blew up it what it was. Beyond that I didn't see anything downtown.

Time to bump all those "How often do you need 4WD?" threads.

That's what I am more worried about. She wouldn't likely do what is necessary and run those MFers over if blocked and I don't want to have to go get her by running MFers over. I will if I need to but I'd rather not frick my truck up and have to leave her car to get torched on the side of the road.

I don't know this guy.
He writes the books the HBO show Game of Thrones is based on. He's famous for being a slow writer and missing deadlines by years.

I'd rather be safe than sorry. I'd rather her work from home than even the slightest possibility of her getting stuck behind a line of crazies blocking the road.
And I meant what I said about my truck. Not a single protester is worth me having to replace my bumper over.

I have no like or dislike for him. A lobbyist for a police union is not a local leader. And as a lobbyist for the union he shouldn't be leaking information that hasn't been released by the police department themselves.
If Kip Holden resurfaced with inside info, people would tell him to sit down and STFU.

Do you remember what happened during the last round of protests?
Not saying I'm all that worried about it happening again, but I understand some people's hesitation. We've seen similar decisions spark horrible reactions

well they were downtown alright and they went onto the interstate via downtown as well

Then, by Sunday night, a few hundred people aimed for an on-ramp of Interstate 110 in Baton Rouge. After a lengthy standoff, helmeted police in riot gear moved in, pinning some of the protesters as others fled. Some 30 to 40 people were taken into custody for trying to block a highway, sheriff's spokeswoman Casey Rayborn Hicks said.

Homeboy with the shitty tatoos is holding that sign the wrong way. Also those letters are far to small to be seen from the capital building

Drivers who hit a protester who’s blocking the road couldn’t be sued for injuries if they “exercise due care,” under a bill that passed the N.C. House on Wednesday.
House Bill 330, approved in a 68-47 vote, comes in response to protests last fall in Charlotte. Protesters upset about the police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott blocked interstate highways and other roads in the city.

That dude plowed through them all chilled with his arm hanging out the window...

I'd shout at them til they tried to attack my truck, then run their asses over in self defense

Have a friend that is on the state trooper swat team. They are being called to Baton Rouge on Tuesday.

They tried. That was where they stalled. They wanted to march from the capitol to 110, but they were blocked from getting onto the highway. That's when they choked up Government Street and started with the arrests.
