Anger and a prayer. But caffeine makes me manic, so I'm screwed either way.

I’ll never give up coffee. I drink it every day all day. Every morning, I chug a cup of coffee poured from the day before. Then sip hot coffee and make espresso,

I’m not a “coffee drinker”. I like it fine when I have it and sometimes drink it if I’m trying to hold out until 3 or so for lunch, but I don’t have a coffee maker at home and don’t drink it regularly enough to call me a coffee drinker.

I have a Diet Coke every morning. That’s my coffee.

My best friend used to work at a place that would employ a bunch of recovering addicts. Every single one of them replaced their old vices with new ones. Sure, some were healthy like working out or religion. But they just traded one addiction for another.

And yes, they all guzzled coffee and chain smoked cigarettes.

100% agree. Folks love to judge based on politics/religion/other imaginary things. I judge based on consumption bc it's real action. Not just talk. No coffee = insane. No booze = sadness.

You don't trust a man's man? Not enough soy in them?

Like I said, I have no use for people who put cream and sugar in their coffee. Soy latte drinkers don't deserve to breath the same air I do. It's black coffee or nothing.

Coffee and tea are good for you if you aren't sensitive to caffeine.

Fights cancer, diabetes, dementia, heart disease, the whole megillah.

My coffee & alcohol drinking is very similar to yours. I didn't start drinking coffee until about 5 years ago. It started off with needing a little pep in the morning after pulling long days at work and struggling to sleep because of the stress. Now, I just enjoy a cup in the morning on weekdays while I commute to work. I think I have only had more than 1 cup of coffee in a day a handful of times.

I will make a nice sweet tea on weekend I know I will be doing a lot of work around the house.

I still drink alcohol from time-to-time, but my issue was I thought I needed to drink to have a good time and it turned into binge drinking whenever I did drink. I was worried I had a problem and went out several times without drinking and still had as much fun. Then I realized my issue is once I get a buzz, I just want to keep going hard. Now, I will go weeks/months without a drink, then am content with have 2-3 drinks and just chillin.

Makes me laugh to watch people huddle around a coffee maker or wait in line for 20 minutes at Starbucks or any location coffee shop for a hot cup of black water. All that just to drink something that makes their breath smell as if they ate a dog’s dirty a-hole.
