I only get miffed when the person is doing something unsafe. Crossing the center line because they are on their phone, waiving someone to go in violation of traffic laws, riding my arse, etc.

A lot of people see their car as an extension of themselves. They interpret the actions of other drivers as an assault on them personally. The human ego is a fascinating study.

On our way back to NC today. Two suvs got at it on I20 between York and Tuscaloosa today. Trying to run each other off the road, throwing stuff at each other. Went on for probably 5 miles.

They looked like fricking idiots, and I wish they would've wrecked each other.

My dad used to get angry at other drivers and follow them for miles. He is 5’7.

Society has no patience anymore. Its pathetic how people act like getting to the next red light before anyone else is a major accomplishment.

Sounds like they were just, 'trafficing'. Leave them alone, get your squad together, and go soccering.

I didn't mess with them. They were rage trafficking fine by themselves.

We can go golfing anytime you like. Are you elitist like that other guy from the other thread. I don't pay attention to names on here.. He sounds kinda like a dick, and no fun to golf with (another verb usage). He never told me about his club. Figured he could brag on his club since he was such an elitist golfer.

Given I know the timing of the four redlights on my route it is.

If you catch the first one and do not do the 1/4 mile in under 16 seconds you'll catch the rest.

It will take 18 minutes to complete the last 1.5 miles. Rather than two minutes.

Especially riding with them. And they freak out banging the steering wheel mashing the gas because the person in front of them isn’t doing everything they think they should do (just the fact anyone else dares be on the road really).

It makes them look like a childish douche and can’t help but both laugh at how stupid they come off and can’t wait to gtf out

People that aren't going the speed limit need to absolutely get the frick out of the left lane.

Being in a hurry, to the point of rage, is a sign of poverty.

This is a true story. Awhile back someone I know.. There son was driving back from Baton Rouge (to Plaquemine) and somewhere in Brusly the kid noticed a truck was following him.

When he was on the interstate evidently he had to hit is brakes, the truck following him hit was right behind him and hit the brakes. The dude sat on his horn, but I don't know all the details.. I think the truck ended up a few cars behind him then noticed in Brusly the dude was riding his arse. The dude stayed on his arse and by the time he was getting out of Addis he knew for sure the guy wasn't just going the same way as him, he was following him.

He gets to his house. The next door neighbor was outside doing yard work. When the kid parked, the dude following him parks and jumps out and starts yelling and cussing. The neighbor overheard and ran over. He kind of pieced what was going on by what the follower was said.. He told the follower he better get in his fricking truck or he would beat the piss out of him and if he comes back he better bring a gun he he wants a chance because that's what he would be greeted with.

Evidently it was some guy who looked to be kind of young himself... Midish 20s.. A bean pole of a guy. He had a Texas license plate.. Could have been someone from here visiting family.. It was actually during the Christmas holidays. He could have been going back to Texas.. But whatever the case was, he was really committed. If I got that pissed.. I would follow for less than 5 mins before I think "what am I doing? This is stupid". This guy was evidently still pissed a good 25 mins later. And then to be some skinny dude who didn't look intimidating. He is putting himself in danger pulling into someone's driveway like that.

So many triggered drivers that get wildly irrational and emotional about folks driving the speed limit or 5-10 mph above it. There will always be someone in your lane. Your brain maybe can't understand that millions of vehicles result in millions of consequences of why someone is in your lane.
