PNW's thread has me curious if there's any more of you on here that took the chance. What's your story?

It’s been great. I’m making $18k per month as a double diamond seller of It Works!

What if I told you there was a hot chocolate that tastes great and can help you lose weight?

I only went for my dream job.
Never had a 9 to 5.

Im very close to buying a boat to live on and moving to Key West. Working in a marina or bartending for for work. Nothing keeping me grinding the way I am.

I make over $500k playing video games so it's pretty good. I even play with celebrities like Drake.

9-5 would be my dream job.

Still searching. So far I would say trying to better myself was a huge mistake.

You teach now? (if you've forgotten who I am, you were my TA for Paleo and you were the freshman TA when I was at senior field camp)

Weren't you a trainer for the football team? If you're who I think you are, me and a few other guys used to wear hard hats and chant your name during warm up drills.
Edit: I'm just in this thread to make people question their anonymity on a message board...

I don’t think people have “ dream jobs “ as the reality of anything repeated over time becomes just another day. I think people , through trial and error, find the best possible situation that brings meaning to their life and that improves their situation in some way.
I have “ dream situation “ for ME. Some would kill for it and others would scoff at it . But it fits ME. So yes, doing my own thing, creating my own gig, has been awesome. I only got here though, by suffering in the conventional work environment and doing an honest, and I mean totally honest, assessment of myself . A self- intervention of sorts. A “ you are better than this” moment that really made me seek a change of direction.

I went the opposite direction. I left radio and started working 'regular' jobs. After a decade or so in the business, I said "frick it".
The bills have to be paid.

What’s 9-5?
I work a lot more than that. Thankfully I like what I do.
