This pretty much always means you're following too closely or just not paying attention ahead of you. You can see cars stopped ahead of the car in front of you.
I get stuck in f'ing traffic on Highland near the interstate every day because of dumbasses turning left onto Highland from Perkins squeezing in & blocking the intersection.

Even worse is them getting stuck on a railroad track, on red light. Saw it in Bunkie last week.

I don't know if it is still like this, but it used to be that the only reason Perkins was backed up leading up to the Essen intersection was because Essen/Staring drivers crossing over Perkins would do this.
I used to wish they'd put a cop out there for a week and him ticket every single person who did it. Crazy that was the sole reason for Perkins traffic.

Some bitch honked their horn at me today because I didn't do this when the light was green. I knew if I went I would end up getting stuck in the middle so I waited to make sure there was enough room and this bitch kept honking her motioning me to go anyway.

It's called blocking the box and Baton Rouge needs to start writing tickets for it. It's the only way our local retards will learn to not sit in every intersection along Perkins, college, and essen
