when pronouncing non English words.
Is there anything more fricking annoying?
I literally want to slap them and never speak to them again. Could you be more pretentious?

So you should only pronounce Spanish words correctly when speaking 100% Spanish? Otherwise mispronounce it with an English dialect? Is that what you're trying to say?

Giada does it all the time. I will forgive her, though.

Yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying.
I speak perfect french, but when I’m soeaking English, I never say Pahree when I’m talking about Paris, or any other french words.

By your posting history, I find this really hard to believe.

Yeah I can see how that can come off as pretentious, although the French language just has a level of pretentiousness to it. But that particular example seems like an extreme version. I've never heard anyone do that. Pronouncing countries is much different IMO.
On the other hand my family is Cuban and routinely mixes English and Spanish and will switch dialects accordingly. What's your take on that?

Oh I gotcha. Yea that's annoying. It's not as bad as cultures flat out making up words and using words in an incorrect context but it's close. Por ejemplo, stay woke masterag

Well of course I can, but you probably wouldn't be able to notice.

When I was in Italy, I sounded like Borat when talking to a local that spoke a little English.
