People need to get off social media and back off the ledge

I have not encountered a single person - black, white, brown, or yellow - that agrees with what is going on.
These lunatics on social media are not the majority. Do not be discouraged and fall victim to their echo chamber.

I used to enjoy sports talk on my way into work, no more. I used to enjoy being able to share an opinion in the workplace on current events, no more. I used to enjoy not being bombarded with emails from every company I've ever done online business with flooding my inbox with virtue signaling, no more.
It's not as easy to get away form as you make it.

The problem with that is some politician will submit legislation to appease all these lunatics. And if the majority doesn't speak up it will pass and we will lose more freedom over it. That is the strategy of of the faction that is causing all this.

You are right and so is OP. 99% of the country is operating totally normally right now. However, if you get on Twitter, or the Poliboard, or even the OT at night during the protests/riots, everyone is posting and freaking out about how the United States of America is falling apart.
It's not. Let the ones who want to be outraged and live in fear do just that. We'll have elections in November, and a whole lot of people on Twitter are going to be very disappointed.

I trimmed my friends list down quiet a bit yesterday
it's just easier. I don't even post or use it that much, but basically all the racist black people and the white guilters got the boot. Simple and problem solved.
Just really shocked at my black classmates who turned out to be so damn racist towards whites. The ones who claim they are not "privileged" but yet went to Fayetteville on a full ride and graduated. Completely out of touch.

I thought about that yesterday evening as well and am trying to follow the plan if not following the stuff as much.
On Sunday I was at a local sand volleyball court and the group next to us was really dark skinned Spanish speaking folks and other courts had lots of black people mixed amonfg the whites.
EVERYONE was having fun and living life.
Yesterday at the gas station and at the grocery store I was among many black people and employees. Everyone was nice to each other and even being more polite than usual

The front page of the OT looks like most everything FB or Twitter right now. At least 80% of it has something to do with all the stupid shite going on in the world. You used to be able to go to the OT to get away from the dumb crap. But no longer. Ugh!

I did that a couple of years ago and have never missed it. I'm honestly a lot happier and don't find myself angry at the stupidity. Life is good
