This has to be the most expensive listing of all time in the Nola metro area--just edging out Shane Guidry's house in Old Metairie.

LINK

$19,500,000.00
4 BR
4.5 bath
4,302 sq. ft. ($4,533/sq. ft.)
HOA fees: $6,996/mo.

WYBI?

That will be a nice spot for my butler.

ETA: I’ll purchase as long as the piano stays.

I was hoping that the first response would be a butler comment

Is that new or is that someone selling. I thought the one Boysie Bollinger bought was 20+.

According to the Secretary of State's office, the current owner of this listing is an LLC in which Bollinger is listed as a member

I fricking loathe modern interior decor

It is so feminine

It's like all the Karen designers got together and were like "let's make this chandelier look like a foaming suds bath... and then the one in the dining room we will make some avant-garde sharp metal line sculpture thing... it will be SO neat."

That apartment is completely soulless.

Not to mention I've never understood "penthouse" appeal in New Orleans.

New Orleans has no skyline.

You wake up and for miles can see expansive swamp land... it would make me sweat just looking at it.

A penthouse is for being able to go on a balcony and gaze on the massive sky scrapers and skyline and city sprawling before you.

Also for twenty fricking million dollars - especially in New Orleans - I would expect a LOT LOT LOT more.

This is less impressive than a suite at a hotel in Miami.

I would love to have so much money that I could invite friends over and then charge them for drinks.
