I'm trying not to harp on the conspiracy theories, but this kind of stuff makes it hard not to.

It's like they want the most economical and social pain possible inflicted.

I found the person who has never been to Pittsburgh. Those people drink their asses off.

The PLCB regulates the distribution of beverage alcohol in Pennsylvania, operates nearly 600 wine and spirits stores statewide, and licenses 20,000 alcohol producers, retailers, and handlers.

I know nothing of PA law, but do they have any non State owned liquor stores? Sounds like you can still buy wine and beer at the grocery store.

Would love to see a live shot outside of one of these stores right now.

Imo, that’s 100% what this is. They’re learning exactly how far they can go.

Ah so forcing people to go out of state (you know they will) to get booze is what those geniuses in PA decided.

Yeah that’ll isolate the virus......

I stocked up on Jack Daniels like 2 weeks ago. Not because of any pandemic but because why not?

Oh that's totally fine then. Banning the sale of liquor for...reasons....makes complete sense.

Quit your melt. I never said that.

I work in the alcohol business so I'm just asking about PA law. Control states blow. The government is already too involved in booze sales. Having them control the retailers is even worse.

Thread is about liquor stores, you respond with a comment about wine and beer.

Nope. It’s a huge pain.

ETA - I’ve been several times. If there were other places to buy, I never found them.

Why are you melting here?

I asked if there were non state run liquor stores because there are non state run stores that sell other forms of alcohol. Other states will limit what can be sold in grocery accounts. For instance grocery stores in Oklahoma until recently weren't able to sell above 3.2% abv beer or any wine, but you could buy these in liquor stores.
