Here you go from forbes. The say annual cost can easily get to 800k a year now:

quote:

Ten years ago, a household manager would probably be earning about $50,000 a year. An entire budget was $250,000. Now it can easily be $800,000 a year."

Yall 'smart' posters must not be up to speed on these two Bruni pricks.

They are VERY active in real estate. Buy and sell alot of shite. And are pretty much assholes to deal with.

So it is 10k just for taxes, I would imagine, lawn care, electricity, maids, grounds keeper, guard house etc would push it to around 100k

not a chance, you are over estimating how much people pay maids and yard men.

10k just in taxes. They also have live in maids/workers in a separate 2000 plus sq foot house, full time workers in their guard house, full time workers for their yard etc. That shite adds up fast. I have done tax returns for the super wealthy. Yall would be shocked

No one said it isn't possible, but to say that it's automatically gonna cost them 1.2 mill a year to live comfortably is ridiculous

No im not. A full live in house maid/ manager will be making at least 50k. That is for one

I didnt say that. I said based on what i have seen from their estate, that is my guess. It would be easy to do it for cheaper

They don't need a full time staff of 10 people just to operate

I'm not saying it wouldn't be nice, but it's not necessary

No shite. Unless they want their yard to look like a golf course they don't need daily landscaping and I would imagine having a maid service come a few times a week is way cheaper. There are ways to maintain a property like that without actually employing a staff.

If they had 2 full time maids and 2 full time groundskeepers they still don't come anywhere near 100k, even after taxes, insurance, utilities, etc

I can't believe I'm even arguing this

Of course there are other ways. I never said that. But I am telling you what they have. They have a separate 2000+ sqft house on their grounds that house some of their full time staff

that might be the person that is in charge of everyone else makes, but not all of the staff. lets be generous and say you have 3 other maids making $30K/year, 5 yard guys making $25K/year, 3 guard house guys at $30K/year.

that puts you at ~$30k a month for staff, and I think those numbers are generous. plus $10k/month for taxes and you still got $60K per month left over for utilities, repairs. you think those cost that much?
