Nice. A roundabout will be perfect right there. I forget it’s AP right there and not EBR.

Wrong. A roundabout would be exponentially better at moving traffic.

Exponentially better at moving traffic sure, but wait'll you see the amount of people exiting there headed to Highland Road and Burbank starting at 4pm. Those 2 lane roads ain't ready for it.

Isn't there something on the roadmap for the Highland/Siegen intersection? I will see if I can find it.

I think MoveBR has a plan to address the Siegen/Highland intersection. There’s certainly enough space to expand right there.

Just wish this stuff would get moving instead of the stupid Rapid Transit bus station or whatever the frick they’re doing in NBR.

The new Pecue interchange will help Siegen & Highland interstate traffic a lot. Surface streets need a lot of improvement though.

They'll never 4-lane either of those roads so whatever they do at that intersection is useless.

You are wrong about that.

Moving more cars through is indeed problematic, but the intersection is poorly designed and very unsafe.

A third grader could design something better than that.

It would be criminal to not have that improvement ready when
the Pecue project opens up.

I will be shocked if that exit is completed by July 4 and I'm skeptical of all the roundabouts being constructed.

Not just more cars, a metric frick TON more. They could put instant teleport stations where Pecue hits that intersection but they all have to come down what's basically a 2 lane residential street. It'll back up to Highland every day. They won't even consider doing anything until after people realize what a cluster frick it is

You know the traffic is hopeless in BR, and always will be.

As long as the parish keeps developing flood plain with not intention of addressing surface streets you can guarantee it.

Roundabout construction there is going to be very difficult. They’ll have to move a ton of dirt because both roads are basically on narrow cliffs there.

Pecue is not expected to be complete until next year

Probably from the owner of that big house on the corner of that intersection

Maybe. He is a retired doctor. He’s always been nice to me
