I guess they just go for the frontmen. It couldn't have been for looks, Ric Ocasek is perhaps the goofiest looking of all lead singers. Or maybe Tom Petty was the goofiest.

I paid $35 to see the Cars at the Centroplex in 1981 or 1982. They played for 30 minutes and then left. No encore. Just gone.
I can understand wanting to get out of BR ASAP but that was a lot of money back in the day.

I've been to a lot of concerts in my life, and The Cars were probably the worst. I like their music, it's just like they put zero effort into it.
