There was a lot of hate for a pastor who wanted to preach by a bunch of bootlickers. The same people who condemned Tony Spell didn’t say shite about social distancing during the protesting, rioting, and looting

And if you think that protects you from an airborne virus you are stupid. I shop at Wal-Mart. Maybe 25% wearing masks, no social distancing, employees either not masked or nose not covered. But yeah Walmart is saving America.
Why do you hate churches?

I don’t think anybody questions here that Spell is a douche, we all know that answer. The fact is that a lot of places closed that should’ve stayed open.

put magical covid proof plastic over the keys of the credit card machines

I asked a cashier at Circle K about this a few weeks ago out of curiosity. Apparently the plastic is to allow them to disinfect without damaging the PIN pad.

Side note - is there a law I’m not aware of that bans mounting PIN pads with more than one screw and/or wrench-tightening them?

That may be true, i don’t know Tony Spell, his business dealings, or his church business. I had never heard of him until the lockdown. That being said, my point still stands. A lot of posters on this board was upset about him practicing his 1st Amendment rights but got awfully quiet about social distancing when protesters were practicing their 1st Amendment rights

I was very critical of him when he was doing his thing, but I'll admit...he was right. I'd vote for Tony Spell for Governor right now.

no hate towards Walmart. they were allowed to operate just like Lowe's was this entire time at their own "social distancing discretion" as they should have been allowed.

a church on the other hand wasn't allowed the same treatment.

One sells food and essential supplies to people.

The other is a group of people who gather around to listen to fairy tails and get begged for money for telling the fairy tails.

they are not the same.

But they both spread the virus.

I’m not religious but the government picking winners and losers is problematic.

The guidance on this shite has changed so much and done a 180 that a lot of people are tuning out and not taking it as real.

Can you blame them? There were apocalyptic predictions that have not come true.

Everything should always have been left up to private citizens and businesses doing what they thought was best. It’s amazing to hear things like “well now in phase 5c2x we are going to leave things up to citizens and businesses discretion” like it is some gift that they are allowing people to make their own decisions.

No it's fact. You calling it an opinion doesn't make it not a fact that a bunch of people gather around in a building to listen to stories from a book.

Your belief that it isn't a fairy tail is an opinion.

Nothing about that statement is false and nothing about that action is essential for survival. Another fact.

The food supply system was allowed to stay open to prevent mass starvation.

Tony Spell wants to be a cult leader.

There is a huge difference.

Eh, he might have been right, but it was for the wrong reasons.

He was just a grandstanding jackass using his "flock" as pawns.

Nah I was on his arse for being a fricking shyster whore and telling people they needed to give him their stimulus checks. He can hold his services for the mongoloids he convinces to give him money any time anywhere.
