Should have done it at dawn. There will be plenty of people downtown for the game.

would think the only way that (the shielding) would work is if they had a particular LLC for this project, but IDK.

There’s a reason it’s called a LLC and not a NLC (no liability company). There will be millions of dollars in legal fees on this one without a doubt.

Only NOLA would do this on an NFL home game day.

Bad info aside, I feel like you would have found something to bitch about no matter the day.

A part of me wants to watch this, but I have to go lawnmower shopping today before the game.
I talked to some people the other day in the area I didn't know the extent of business closures. Like the ruby slipper is down and most food service peeps live week to week. The one I talked to was panicking.

Meanwhile Wicked's set and the orchestra's instruments are still in the theater. So some of those guys will miss other gigs.
There are trickle down issues with this for sure. The hostel closing messed up some backpackers too.

They have 8 Ruby Slippers in nola. They moved the employees to the other locations around the city.

Reporter on WWL just said it would happen between noon and 5 PM. Hell of a window.

Yeah. But from what I gather to do that they cut hours of workers in those locations. Trickle down effects.

They have a number you can text for updates that will give you the tighter window. Once they shut down the streets it'll happen in the next hour.

I just saw that. So dumb. Just pick a time and get it over with. Why wait until almost the end of the day? When this shite show backfires in their faces, they’ll have a mess to deal with at night and then we have a 80% chance of rain tomorrow.
