It’ll sound silly but I’ve got to think hard rock doesn’t love the city using things like #hardrockcollapse on their social media given their statement yesterday

Has anyone mentioned that you can see a guy running on the building? 4th floor where it’s yellow. You can see someone running away and then he disappears

If you look at Citadel's headquarters on Google Maps, it looks like a place that would install Sunsetter Retractable Awnings.

That is my extremely scientific analysis at least.

makes sense dude damn

I'm waiting for the decision for a contained demolition to take down the remaining section of the hotel... . don't see another option at this point.

I was merely replying to the gentlemen’s statement implying that a flimsy steel erector set cannot hold up concrete but concrete should hold up concrete. This is not a concern since steel, as you confirmed is 10x stronger than concrete.
But his question is vague so I’m not exactly sure what his concerns are

Man I hope that guy on the scaffolding made it. Doesn't look good though. So sad.

After looking closely at the drone footage I am surprised at how little structural support it appears was installed especially at the perimeter of those upper slabs even on the side that didn’t collapse.

Unsure if the upper slabs were partially supported by what was installed so far and more framing was coming later?

I wonder how many people were in that car?

Next pic in the OP shows the other car on the ground.

Dude you need to stick to predicting when Kawhi will play for the Lakers and eating tofu tacos, and chest waxing...while being unemployed.

Rather than question the OT brethren...

The drone footage was pretty clear.

You don’t have to be a genius to see it looks like thin air around the upper slabs.

In my opinion it’s a curious design.

The video of the guy trapped at the top under rubble was scary.
Sounds like he was going to make it based on his cursing.

A dumpster falling pancaked the floors.
No signs yet of design flaw.

That's horrible..There is another video, which I can't find..It's from a hotel window and you can see the building falling and workers running around on the top floors. I would imagine they were shitting bricks...

Well, the collapse could be considered a sign that there was a flaw in the design
