My buddie one time in HS said his mom said he had to get off the phone because there was a storm. He said lightning could hit and come through the phone line. I said that was stupid.

I posted because I felt extremely bad for the guy.
Out of state plates. Got the feeling the dad doesn't usually make them get out and was praying they didn't rat him out.
She legitimately shouted at the dad to not forget to get a receipt.
