Then why were they not prepared and sent extra pants to school at the beginning of year? Bad parenting

She could also be inappropriately touched while wearing pants

Everyone keeps saying pack an extra pair of pants for the medical condition, but what I'm wondering is if the parents ever shared this condition with the school?

Isn't that some Day 1 stuff right there?

Because getting ignored for breaks was pretty common in my day.

I'd probably stick with it until one of the morons responsible for this was fired.

Normally I side with the school, but at face value that is just terrible. I would throw a damn hissy fit

Kids shitting and pissing themselves is A LOT more common than people think.

Extra clothes at every school is the norm. And a good bit of them.

Ya, we had tons of extra clothes at our school too. That part is inexcusable

School certainly effed up, but the parents, knowing she has a problem, should have kept an extra pair in her backpack.

Any decent school has a boat load of clothes to give kids who have accidents or get muddy on field trips.

They buried it in the article that the school knew the kid had an issue.

So they fricked up all around.

Don't they keep extra pairs of gym shorts or something for these situations?

No. Clothes are the parents responsibility.

The school SHOULD have called them to come pick her up or bring her clothes, since they didn't think to do it themselves, despite her condition.

There's absolutely NO WAY the school did not try and reach the parents!

Yeah...it's called being a 6 year old. Kids have to use the bathroom all the time. Either way, frick that school for doing that to the child. At LEAST call the parents so they could try to figure something out. But to have her walking around with no pants on? That is all sorts of fricked up b

Well, if she were at my school when I was that age, there probably would have been a clip-on tie available....

Seriously, this is bad, but I can´t believe her parents didn´t have the school advised of her condition (if true), and have left two or three changes of underwear and pants.

Where is the fricking common sense here?

Honestly would kill someone over humiliating my daughter over something like that aside from the general inappropriateness of my daughter in public without clothes
