Jody, was your dad a good man? I know you've said he was a heavy drinker but I think a lot of good people have demons. Was he otherwise a pretty involved father?
I should probably buy the book I guess. Can I get it on Kindle?

I know Jody and knew Gary after the incident. He was a very good man. He liked to drink(but who doesn’t). He was a good family man that always had a smile on his face and a joke on his lips.

Yes you can get it on Kindle. My friend wrote an essay after Daddy died and he read it at the funeral. I included it the book...it says a lot about not just my father but a lot about OUR father's.

Mr. Gary was an awesome guy. A man that was loved by everyone. Everyone that was around him has a story. The first time he met my wife he sat next to her on the couch and faked a seizure on her for about 2 minutes. Everyone played it off as normal. It was hilarious. That said everyone has flaws.

There were a lot of citizens back then that were responsible parents, with a strong sense of right and wrong. They are lucky they were able to convict him of a parking violation.
