Ehhh, it's not just vengeance. It's also deterrence, amelioration, etc. But revenge/punishment is a major component for good reason.

A lot of people don’t remember that Jody was a heckuva athlete, a very good QB for Woodlawn back in his heyday. Led Woodlawn to the state semifinals — very nearly the state championship game — and I don’t they’ve come anywhere close to that since.

As a victim of childhood sexual abuse, thank you for writing this book!! I've struggled with the trauma my entire life. Will definitely be picking up a copy

I always appreciated your attitude in the ESPN segment

Also, I appreciate your uncle quoting your dad as saying "If I could dig him up I'd shoot him again"

I got up early Saturday and went out to LSU for Game Day just so I could say hey to Tom Rinaldi. I gave him 2 copies of the book.
I signed the book thanking him for doing such a great job in Daddy's last interview.

I need to do a reload on the recipe...now I just throw everything in at once and go 50 minutes with a 15 minute natural release...then a quick release. Then I finish like I do in the original.
Thanks :)

I know you speak publicly on this, but TD should start an effort to get TED talks to host you, because your story needs to be available for kids/families on a well known platform
and that hair change ?
a blond mop to dark desperate attempt to hang on to what you got
as always thanks for sharing

I watched the tape for the first time. What a crazy scene.
There is a officer in uniform walk up towards the end of the clip that is on youtube and he just kinda looks at the dead man and holds his hands up like "what the hell am I supposed to do with this?"

My 2nd favorite part.
He is like..."that MF-er's dead...what do you want me to do about it?"
Ever notice the little old man standing by the escalator just watching? Check it out.

The kidnappers name was Jeffery Doucet....no relation to Jacques I hope. Anyone know if there is a connection?

I know. I damn near open the book talking about Roland and his radio show.
I love Roland...he was a great guy. I have nothing but best wishes for him. I'm glad he was able to have success and not have what happened cause him negative affects.
Tigahrag (B. Rushing) worked with him...that's how Rags knew so much. And they both owned flooring companies.

What's the book about? I know the story pretty well, is there anything new to read about?

I hate to make light of such a serious situation but I believe I've talked to you about it before on here and you seem fine with discussing it.
I absolutely find it hilarious that your dad had some aviators and a mesh hat on as a disguise. It's almost like he looked up "disguises" in the encyclopedia Britannica and thought "yeah, we'll go with that"
