Bad stuff.

Never used the goat’s milk based formula.

The problem with most allergies is due to a protein present in both, which is why babies with an allergy use the pre-digested/broken down formulas.

If he is still gaining weight fine, it’s not a big deal. My first was breastfed, and he spit up nonstop. Since he was gaining weight and didn’t seem uncomfortable, my doc said not to worry about it. He was a “happy spitter” according to my doc.

It’s probably allergies

I know all the weak allergy glasses wearing nerds that we bullied back in the day were formula kids

My son was constantly spitting up when an infant. Finally diagnosed pyloric stenosis. Minor surgury solved the problem

Have two kids. One is about to be seven months. Had the same exact problem as you. Both spit up constantly. 7 m/o has made the rounds of formula. He’s currently on soy based but still spits up all the time and he is huge. As long as they’re gaining weight it should be fine. Just get used to having spit up soaked clothes all around. I feel your pain but we had to just deal with it.

Stick to breast milk. If difficulty breastfeeding then pump.

All 4 of mine were lactose intolerant and had to have soy based formula. It also helped with colic.

I’ll also add, parents choice(wallyworld brand) is what all 4 of mine used and had excellent results.

You know this doesn't fix the problem, correct? My son spit up on both breast milk and formula.

Also, OP elevate for at least 15 minutes after each feeding.

Protien allergy. They grow out of it, eventually.

Peds are sometimes slow to diagnose. Our ped kept telling us everything was fine and normal, then saw a second ped who immediately diagnosed it and it was a life changer.

Alimentum formula $$$

Is there ever the barest hint of blood in his diaper? Some kids can't break down the proteins in formula very well. Our son had it.

He had to be on Alimentum formula for several months.

What sucks is it smells terrible, and gave him acid reflux.

But before that he was throwing up more than the acid reflux, and had streaks of blood in his diapers.

Try the purple can members mark at. Sam's.

Fixed our middle ones spitting up. Wife wasn't able to nurse him.

She did the other two.

Go to Nexium. Get kid scoped to see if you even need reflux medicine. Could be several teeth coming in too.

Kid might be lactose intolerant. 1 of my daughters was. Couldn't even take down the boobie juice.

also, could be pyloric stennosis.

P.S.
