Both of my parents have had chest congestion since the beginning of the year. My grandpa picked up something similar a few weeks ago.

Mine had the Flu two weeks ago and promptly gave it to me. All good now.

My daughter seems to have the same thing and she tested negative for flu as well. We are close to Lafayette area.

My oldest son had RSV (I think that is what is called) when he was little almost died. He was in the hospital a week. Some very hard days watching him try and breath. There was a whole lot of breathing treatments in that week.

My son has it now. Diagnosed flu after flu test. He's been home 2.5 days now and won't be back in school this week per doctor. I'm making it rain with Lysol all day seems like.

My Dallas office is riddled with the flu and people sick as a dog but negative with the flu. I just hope I don't get it towards the end of next week when I leave for Mardi Gras

Lysol is good, but the most important thing you should do is wash hands with soap and water. Often.

Yep, shite hit me a little over two weeks ago. Just started clearing up a couple days ago. Still coughing up a lung. It is going around here in Pointe Coupee big time.
