That was weird.
What do they want? It sucks their kid got killed and I understand parents feeling as if they need to do something. I can't blame the parents, but what do they want do?
The basic idea to make guns illegal is out of the question. That will never happen. You can't take away people's right to defend themselves.
If they want to campaign for something that would actually do something that would benefit people it should be mental health. If someone with mental health issues wants to do something harmful they will find away to do it. If they cab't get a gun, they can just as easy make a bomb out of a pressure cooker or whatever else is used to make a bomb or create chaos.

I'll be honest, I'm not sure how I would look at the world after my high school age child was gunned down in a mass shooting.

Isn't the "elephant in the room" here the fact that this kid wanted that badly to kill their son? WTF was going on at that place? We're just supposed to ignore that question and keep locking up progressively more dangerous inanimate objects?
