People fussing at umps and refs in peewee sports should have their asses kicked.
They're doing it nearly for free. They quit, and you'll be the one doing it or there will be no kids sports.
The reason nobody wants to do it now is because nobody wants to hear that shite. Its a kids game, it doesn't matter, and the kids learn that sometimes life ain't fair.

Yelling at a little league ump about a call is trashy.
Yelling at a little league ump about a correct call is next level.

When my son was playing in the youth league we had a very hard time finding umpires. Most didn’t have training or much experience. Far be from me to argue because I sure as hell didn’t want to do it and I had to coach the team.
Just let the kids play baseball, win or lose they’ll be eating together at the snack bar while the parents writhe in their misery.

It’s not football season baw?

I coached little league 20 years. The last year I got thrown out of a game and decided to make that my last season. I realized I began to take it too seriously, didn’t know why.

Ump calls the Runner out for interference. I argued the Runner has a right to the basepath and should be safe.
That is a rule simple enough that a youth ump knows it

And why the hell are you playing baseball in football season

Playing baseball in the fall is unAmerican.

I umpired Pony League way back in the day - 70s - and there were dolt headed parents back then
It was a much different time. My Dad got thrown out of a Dixie Youth game in the mid '70s for cussing. He was umpiring 1st base at the time and it was the home plate umpire who tossed him. Tossed him for cussing me who had just bailed on an inside pitch. I was 9. In his defense, he had run out of little Millers the inning prior. And I stopped bailing on inside pitches after that.

You don't know the rules

We went to my daughter’s friend’s travel soccer ball game. Two adult men got thrown out, one was f bombing in front of young kids. It was funny and sad at the same time. Daughter’s friend said it was the best soccer game ever.

So first you humiliated yourself and family in front of your friends in person while setting a horrible example for your son at the field.
Then you came home and doubled down by spreading news of your horrible behavior on a message board where tens of thousands of people could hear about it because you lack the self awareness to even realize you were the a-hole in your story?
It’s little league. You need to calm down.

Traaaaasssshhhhh
Really just indicative of the lack of hope and pervasive gambling mentality. Jr. is gonna be a big league slugger and that is going to save us financially. Plenty of good athletes play a sport in college and then end up selling cars or insurance if they are lucky. Teaching children to be one-dimensional morons is just wrong.

As everyone said - you are wrong.
The best little league coach I ever had was a wise old guy who was a retired high school coach. I remember that he would ask the umpire to come explain the rule to our team after the game on any controversial play. It was a novel approach. That year I learned that a runner standing on second base (or any base in fair territory) is not protected from a batted ball. The coach on the other team lost his mind when it happened to them. The ump offered a good explanation after the game and I still remember it.

Is this the same parents that put their 6 & 7 year old kids in travel ball and play 60 games a year?
