Lets get to a spot way ahead of time to watch some floats drive by.

Yawn.

Not for me either but if other people enjoy it that’s great for them. Really interesting how some people just want to shite on things they aren’t ever required to do or watch....

I wouldn't know, I don't live there.

However, if you're into politics, South Carolina is at the center of the presidential campaign this week.

I Couldn't handle the crowds of drunk stupid people. And I dont really get excited about parades in general. But to each his own.

I do like Tiddys though

Why does everyone that doesn’t like Mardi Gras feel like they need to start a thread to let us know?

I'm cool with it except for the ladders...,especially adults. Adults that hang out on ladders to get beads are trashy.

It does take a certain person that can’t have fun at a party

I love the part at the end when you get to watch the horses walk by and shite al over the street.

It’s not as much about the parade as the people you share it with. It’s like tailgating.

Parades (at least the ones down here anyway) are one of the very few things that can seem to get tons of kids to actually put down their iPads/technology to go outside and enjoy themselves. They absolutely love it and it's one of the few things that families do together, and everyone, young and old, seem to have a blast. People can't even have Thanksgiving dinner anymore without having a borderline brawl at the table with family, so it's extremely refreshing to see families/people enjoying the world together for the day.

Big crowds are not for everyone and that's understandable, but it always seems to bother a lot of people for some reason that hundreds of thousands of people love to go outside to parades each day and really enjoy life during Mardi Gras season.

When I was a kid I never really cared for Mardi Gras. Never interested in parades. High school and college I loved it. Now I'm back to giving zero fricks.
