I've been lurking in this thread for a while, but finally decided to take the plunge. I just ordered T25. My wife and I were going to do it by ourselves, but my 16 year old twin boys said they wanted to do it also. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration and excitement.

Just did the Challenge this morning for week 2. Lost 3 pounds since I started, still have a ways to go.

Making progress.
Did your numbers go up in the challenge?

Yes, I did as you said and got the chin up band to help my fat arse get up there. I did 18 pushups and 10 pull ups /chin ups. The only time I fell short was military push ups because I was trying to improve my form. I have hard time making my elbows scrape my rib cage. Also my chin up bar is on a piece of Precor equipment that my wife and I have and it is an arch, not a straight across bar, making it more difficult but will be more beneficial in the long run.

Interesting thread... I don't normally post on the OT, but I figured I'd share my experience as well.
I started P90X3 a little over two weeks ago. I'm really enjoying the workouts. I find myself much more motivated than when I did P90X... the simple fact that when I'm gassed (like in Agility X or CVX) and I see there's only 9 minutes left, I know I can keep busting my arse... which is much nicer than seeing 33 minutes left, like in Plyo X, and knowing that I'm doomed, lol.
I haven't done pull ups in a while... just been doing rows. After my first day doing 'The Challenge', I couldn't straighten my arms for four days without some pain. I iced them and took ibuprofen, but that was crazy. haha. never felt like that before.
The next week, I increased my push ups but decreased my pull up numbers and used a chair for some support. I felt fine afterwards... I think it was just a shock to my system. I'll go back to where I started in a few days on my third 'The Challenge'.
So far so good. The 30 minutes, even though it's still a great workout, doesn't mind frick me like the hour-long videos. I'm really enjoying it.

B&T, you're doing great, man. 10 pullups?! That's awesome progress. Just keep at it and enjoy the workout. Remember, your body makes most of its repairs within the first hour after your workout, so make sure you give your body what it needs.

Just finished P90x3. Didn't lose any weight but I didn't need to. Just wanted to get in shape. Got a 6 pack starting to show now.
Starting today me and a buddy swapped T25 and P90x3. I did day 1 of T25 and it was brutal on my legs, calves especially.

Does anyone here do Insanity?

I did the first month of it a few years ago. Messed up my back doing it. Too many crazy jumps in it.
I would love to be able to complete it one day though. T25 is more my style.
I finished T25 a few months ago but think I will do speed 2.0 today for some cardio since I don't feel like going to the gym today. Maybe that one and a lower focus one for a full workout.

This is with the pull up assist. When I can do 10 without, I will be happy. I can do 4 unassisted.

Doing 10 with the pullup assist is still great, though. You'll be surprised how little help you need from it. Like I said, play with the resistance and see how low you can put it to get the most out of it. Just keep going, brotofski. Just keep going.

Damn. I would like to share my tears with someone. Everyone is in here sharing their war stories and experiences with T25 and P90x3 while I'm over there in the corner jumping around like a jackass.

T-25 will be here on the 31st. I can't wait to do it after I finish this round of X2. I have a feeling I need to do Insanity, but I don't want to.
