That is where I go. $24.99 a month. Love it! And all the locations available to me

I got the Y membership for the swimming pools for about $50/month (IIRC), but having to drive to the gym just gives me another obstacle to overcome. Not many excuses when you have the tapes at home.

Tonight I'm going to break the P90X2 world record for 4-ball Extravaganzas.

Just did the challenge. 15/10. 3 body weight pull-ups and 7 assisted. Going to try 4 body weight ones next week. Hoping to use the pull up bar at the hotel gym. If not I'll have my bands.

(a) Damn. That's super expensive. To get a city wide Y pass in Houston is $38 per month.
(b) I have lucked out and the LA Fitness is maybe five minutes from my house. If I wanted to, I could bike there pretty easily. So, yeah, that helps significantly.

Dr what's the pricing on all the beach body supplements? I want to see if they are different in price and composition from what I take.

Ran 2 miles at lunch. The running part wasn't hard, but I felt like I was going to pass out when I stopped. Did not time today, but from getting out of the truck, to running, to getting back into the truck was ~15min

How many pullups did you do today? 30?
Posted on 4/2/14 at 7:00 pm to tke_swamprat
Honestly, other than Shakeology, Results and Recovery, E&E and a few random others most of the Beachbody supplements aren't any better than a GNC or other such brand.
I couldn't rattle off prices off the top of my head, but they're all on the website.

Good call. If you're in pain your performance will suffer. Rest and heal, then come back and kill it.

None, but I guess I could do some. I need to get a new pull-up bar because mine has begun to put black marks on the door frame
Bout to eat the frick out of some spaghetti, so that is gonna have to wait

I'm seriously looking at mounting a pull up bar to the ceiling in the workout room. I'm tired of the door
Posted on 4/2/14 at 9:33 pm to tke_swamprat
A lot of people do that.
When I finally get into a permanent settled house long term I'll probably do something like that.

Good to know. I just started my third week and haven't did Dynamix yet. I will try it out now. I also don't do the cool downs. Am I the only one?
